Joe Kral is my new Jazz keyboard player, arranger, and conductor…..In addition to gigs in Milwaukee, Joe played on cruise ships for five years, and has played in Chicago and New York. He was a student of the world renowned keyboardist, Willie Pickens. Joe is considered to be one of Mr. Pickens’ finest students, and Milwaukee is fortunate to have him back in his hometown.

WAMI weekend: Wisconsin music awards show returns to Appleton Sunday
Roll out the red carpet for Wisconsin musicians.
The 32nd annual WAMI awards show, hosted by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry, returns Sunday to Appleton’s Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. It marks the second time in three years the event has been held in downtown Appleton.
This new website is really a plus for the WAMI membership. It helps all musicians to network and promote. The best thing to do is to tell other musicians to join. Jazz events have picked up since this new website has been developed. I have particulary benefited.
