WISCONSIN AREA MUSIC INDUSTRY ANNOUNCES HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
People’s Choice nominations also announced
MILWAUKEE, WI – The Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) has announced that the power pop band Yipes!, guitarist Daryl Stuermer, and singer/songwriter (and former member of Timbuk3) pat mAcdonald will be inducted into the WAMI Hall of Fame Class of 2013.
The Inductee Ceremony will take place during the 2013 WAMI Awards Show set for April 14 at Turner Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the Awards Show beginning at 7 p.m. This year’s performers include The Jimmy’s, Sexy Ester, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, The Squeezettes, Klassik, Annex, De La Buena and pat mAcdonald with Purgatory Hill. Tickets are available for $24.99/adults and $15/students. Special VIP packages are available for $50/each and include a front and center table and two free cocktails. The Wisconsin Area Music Industry is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to educate and recognize the achievements and accomplishments of individuals in the Wisconsin music industry. The group also utilizes its funds to provide a Youth Music Showcase and provide scholarships to students and emerging artists.
