Yellow Phone Music Conference Announces 2012 Dates, New Venue

Yellow Phone Music Conference (YPMC), a four-day gathering of artists and music professionals, today announced the event’s 2012 dates and new venue. The conference will be held Thursday, September 6 through Sunday, September 9 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Milwaukee, Wis.

“The music industry has experienced a tremendous evolution in both technology and success models during the past 10 years,” said Scott Ziel, partner, Pursuit Live. “One of the biggest challenges has become connecting music talent with industry experts who can help them navigate the changing landscape. Yellow Phone provides musicians direct access to the people shaping the industry, and the feedback necessary to be successful,” added Ziel.

YPMC badges are available to the public for $99 beginning Wednesday, March 7, and can be purchased at theypmc.com. Conference badges provide entrance to targeted panel discussions and mentor sessions with experienced industry professionals, music showcases with leading unsigned talent, networking cocktail receptions, and a closing brunch.

Wristbands for YPMC showcase access-only are available for $20 at theypmc.com, beginning March 7. “Wristbands give music lovers and the general public the ability to see more than 30 of the best unsigned musicians from around the country. It’s a great value,” said Ziel.
